Our daughter has been attending AFM for the last three years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The school is exceptionally clean and well organized. The teachers and staff are caring, patient, and very experienced. Anytime we have had questions or concerns, the teachers and staff have always listened and they go above and beyond in helping us with it. We are especially impressed with our daughter’s progress in reading and writing. She is able to read and write very well and she also loves reading. AFM has been an excellent start to her education and we highly recommend it to other families!

This is a great Montessori with amazing set of teachers. Our daughter loved this place. The teachers, Mrs. Meghan and Mrs. Aruna work very hard with all the kids. My daughter learnt a lot here in a short period of time. She has started kindergarten now in a different school but already knows most of the stuff they are teaching at school thanks to AFM teachers:).

This is one of the best schools in the whole valley. One of the best decisions I ever made was to enroll our son at AFM. Our son loved going to school everyday, never complained. AFM is quite far from where we live (20 mins drive), but we kept driving our son because he loved it. The teachers are great, some of them have been there for a very long time, it's something all parents need to consider when choosing a day care or a pre-school. Kids tend to build some kind of attachment with their teachers (they spend most of their time with them). The curriculum and the method of teaching is exemplary, we have decided to send our daugther to the same school starting next spring, though the driving is the hardest part. They do a pretty good job on preparing the kids to their next grade level, pre-k to K, K to 1st grade. If they have higher grade levels, we would have continued there.

AFM is an EXCEPTIONAL school! I worked under Mrs. Meaghan as a substitute and support staff in her primary classrooms for several months. Not only is Mrs. Meaghan a phenomenal leader, but the teachers, including support staff, are incredibly exceptional as well. All of the teachers at AFM have been working under Mrs. Meaghan for several years and are happy, as well as dedicated to the school and the children. There is so much love, care and attention that goes into the children's education and environments. It is true, that is you want your child reading daily (and young), this is the place to be! The school truly feels like a community and I loved every minute of my time here. The children are happy and peaceful, yet also challenged academically in all areas of the curriculum. You can clearly see the love of learning that the teachers have instilled in their students. It was a great opportunity to grow as an educator and individual. Do yourself a favor and schedule a tour with Mrs. Meaghan, you won't regret it!

Ahwatukee Foothills Montessori (AFM) is a wonderful school. Our 6 year-old has been there for the past 2 years, and when he tested for first grade capabilities at his (future) new school, the staff were very impressed with how capable he was in reading, writing, and arithmetic. The staff do a great job of balancing play with learning, and the overall curriculum is focused while incorporating play and social/intellectual development in all lessons. We were very pleased to have had the fortune of registering our little one here, and whole-heartedly recommend this school to families looking for a great learning environment for their children.

From the moment we enrolled our children at AFM, we were welcomed into a warm and nurturing community. Our child has been attending since 2020 and will be graduating in the spring. Students thrive at their own pace with great teachers in a welcoming environment. Long time staff, prompt communication (esp during 2020), effective curriculum, and total transparency are only a few things that contribute to the trust we have! The staff's care, professionalism, and commitment is even reflected in how the students treat each other. AFM is wonderful community to be a part of. We are so thankful for the impact it has had on our child's early development!

Not sure where to begin w/ AFM... Mrs. Megan sets the tone and it's a five star tone. AFM gets the children in their most impressionable age and they raise them to be amazing citizens & individuals. Mrs Armendar is amazing and so are all the teachers and staffers. Highly recommended.

AFM is Wonderful school. Kids started going to AFM-Ahwatukee when they were 2.5 year old. Initial days were challenging because we use native language at home but as time passes my kids absolutely loved there. They pretend play teacher and very proudly be miss Maria and miss Catherine. Teachers and other staff is really caring and loving. We were very happy with school. social development, communication, celebration, extra activity and much more making AFM as parents choice.
