AFM PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The private preschool and kindergarten program at AFM is thoughtfully crafted for children ages 2.5 to kindergarten, with the requirement that all children must be able to use the bathroom independently to enroll. Throughout the day, children engage in a mix of group and individual lessons utilizing authentic Montessori materials and equipment. In addition to core lessons, students also explore subjects such as Spanish, art, music, and movement. Our student-to-staff ratio ensures personalized attention, with one adult for every seven students. The Montessori approach fosters mixed-age environments, allowing children to progress at their own pace while learning alongside their peers. This structure not only encourages them to teach and support one another, reinforcing their knowledge and building confidence but also reflects the diverse world they will soon navigate, equipping them with essential life skills.
