Mrs. Meaghan began her career at AFM in 1999, and has been Head of School since 2011. She loves her work and feels very lucky to be able to spend her days with kids instead of in a boring office. When not at school, Mrs. Meaghan enjoys gardening and spending time with her family exploring the great outdoors!

Mrs. Aruna loves her job! She enjoys her interactions with colleagues, and says her favorite thing about children is their innocent and loving nature. In her free time, Mrs. Aruna enjoys watching travel documentaries, gardening, and reading, often falling asleep at night mid-page! Someday she would like to visit the Mt. Everest base camp.

Ms. Arminder loves to present lessons! She enjoys watching the children’s eyes light up when they learn a new concept. Mrs. Arminder likes to listen to Oldies, both English and Indian versions. She likes cooking shows, but she doesn’t like cooking. Mrs. Arminder loves cats and dogs. She has a cat that is almost 20 years old, and has been a proud mum to 5 dogs!

Mrs. Kalyani began teaching at AFM in 2012. In the classroom, she enjoys the innocent way the children express themselves. An avid podcast enthusiast, Mrs. Kalyani loves to travel when time permits.

Mrs. Kandis is a very creative lady! When not at AFM, she designs mugs, makes t-shirts, and produces beautiful gift items on one of her fabulous machines. In her free time, Mrs. Kandis enjoys spending time with her family.

Ms. Hope’s favorite thing about kids is their curiosity and passion. In her free time she enjoys reading, exercising and singing. Ms. Hope is also a writer, hoping to publish a book of her own some day! A funny fact about Ms. Hope is that she can snap her fingers on one hand, but not the other!

Mrs. Archana enjoys the energy and innocence that children show at school every day. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and reading books. Mrs. Archana also loves to eat, which prompts her to try new recipes. Someday she’d like to have more time to travel.

Mrs. Maria enjoys interacting with the children, usually managing to find out some funny piece of information in the process! She doesn’t take herself too seriously, and enjoys finding the humor in life. Mrs. Maria enjoys nature trips and hiking, and would like to retire on an island someday.

Mrs. Andriany loves to see the innocence and joy of the children when they learn something new. Mrs. Andriany is also an artist, and she uses her talents in drawing and painting to create beautiful artwork. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, window-shopping, and watching crime dramas. Someday she’d like to spend more time traveling.

Mrs. Lynn has been an Ahwatukee resident since 1993 when she moved with her family from NY. On the creative side, Mrs. Lynn makes music with various instruments, and someday would like to write and publish a children’s book. Although she admits to being a bit clumsy, Mrs. Lynn enjoys hiking on nearby trails.

Mrs. Catherine began teaching at AFM in 2012. She most enjoys helping children acquire language skills through daily individual reading instruction. Outside of school, Mrs. Catherine enjoys spending time with her family.

Sra. Dolores loves her job teaching Spanish, especially when the children call her Mrs. Colores! In her spare time, Sra. Dolores enjoys spending time with her daughters and her dogs. She likes telling jokes and making people laugh. Someday she’d like to learn to play the guitar.

Ms. Hailee enjoys the seeing creativity her students demonstrate in her Art classes. In her free time she enjoys reading, concerts, and boba tea. Someday she’d like to travel to Japan and Korea. Ms. Hailee thinks it’s funny that the kids often confuse her with Ms. Lexi despite them looking nothing alike!

Mrs. Julia began her career at AFM in 2001. Never one to be late, she is usually the first person at school every day! Mrs. Julia enjoys setting up Practical Life activities, and designing crafts to decorate the classroom.

Mrs. Nirmala is a very creative lady! She enjoys cooking, making crafts, and make-up artistry. She finds humor in most things, and can often be found laughing. She likes working with children because of the positivity that they bring into her life. Someday Mrs. Nirmala would like to own a farm!

Mrs. Donna is a perennial face at AFM! She can usually be found in a sea of craft supplies surrounded by excited kids who can’t wait to start a new project. Mrs. Donna is an eternal optimist, despite her many, many “adventures.” Always one to see the magic in the world, Mrs. Donna actually knows the real Santa Claus!
